I'm definitely loving what I'm seeing so far. The landscapes are one thing Anet will never be bad at, that's proven. I'm curious to see how they make the 3 different locales unique. The music is awesome too, Jeremy Soule is definitely top-notch. Seeing the Emperor though was wierd, how would he even have the time (much less the security) to be in Elona when there's so much going on in Cantha? I know, it's kinda the same with Mhenlo, but he's not as high profile as the Emperor. I dunno.

Also I actually had no problem downloading the preview in Firefox. I have it set to prompt for all downloadable files.

I'm also counting on a fourth (floating island), which they haven't announced officially, but whose existance we've gleamed from interviews and previews. Four environments would be just in line with what factions had (shingjea/kaineng/jadesea/echovald)

well you don't really see the emperor during the factions campaign untill pretty late. Maybe he went to elona asking for help to fight the affliction, leaving his mouth and hands to watch over cantha, meanwhile. it makes sense (it might have made more sense to send the mouth instead but, o, well).

cant say im conviced one way or the other...love the possibilities of a quasi 1000AD Med/N.African land scape. Though that was what i thought when i heard Factions was Asian themed and i ended up running around a dirty city and what appears to be a blue Flavored Ice ocean...Its make it or break for me w/ Nightfall.......since everyones throwing in there wish list i only want 1 thing that i know wont happen...remove the greens..nothing has even come close to hurting pve as badly as that single update....also 1 more lil tweak remove rollable pvp only characters

dont get me wrong all really play is pvp these days

and being able to roll another toon on the fly is great....just think those 2 issues if resolved would remarry pve and pvp communities which are like night and day atm

Sorry to say Foe, both ideas of removing Greens and PvP only characters are not going to happen. As for greens, its likely that we wont see any lesser of them if not more.

What's wrong with greens???

The cinematics are a necessary evil as it advances the story.
I really don't care for them, but an option to watch again, like in some missions in Factions (see Eternal Grove for one)would be best that way everyone is happy. Skip at the end of the mission and for those who want to watch, talk to the necessary NPC, naturally after completeing the mission..

I don't understand what you have against greens except maybe you don't like people farming them? They were added so people could more easily get max stat perfect weapons. Other wise people would have to find/buy a perfect base weapon and then spend a small fortune on perfect mods for it.

I have been in cost rica for a month now, and since I read about the cinamatic I have been trying to download it to watch. But the internet cafes here are so slow and wont finish the downloads and I haven't gotten a chance to check it out. Basically I knew i can rely on checking out guildwarsguru and reading the forum. I have a good picture in my head on how the video look. Thanks to the community.

Oh and wow, i still see we have the complainers lerching around. thought maybe they would give up on guild wars already.
